Citizen Impact Organization

Citizen Impact Organization (CIO) is a Women-led Malawian Non-profit organization that was founded in April 2018 by Chimwemwe Banda who is a gender equality activist (Feminists).

The organization was formally established on 13th March 2021. It is located in Luwinga, Mzuzu City. The organization works in areas of Gender Equality, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), Menstrual Health Hygiene (MHM) advocacy, Girls’ Education Empowerment, Youth Empowerment , Human rights, and Career Guidance, Disability rights, Women and Youth Entrepreneurship and Skills Development.

To provide monitoring, capacity building, and entrepreneurship training to youth, women, persons with disabilities and communities in order to meet their social and economic needs
