Maryrose Ikumi-Simbeye’s Profile

Maryrose Ikumi-Simbeye studied International Development in India and the US and has experience working in the development arena in Kenya, Mozambique, Bangladesh and now Malawi.

She has a passion working with the youth and has held different portfolios in different organizations focusing on youth development. She has successfully mentored many youth organizations in Kenya, Mozambique and Malawi and has also worked on gender issues.

She is currently the acting Network Coordinator of the NGO Gender Coordination Network in Malawi and also the Resource Mobilization and Partnership Advisor.

She brings in a wealth of experience from different countries and different organizations to CIO.
